Explore Aswan and its most impressive sites on a private tour of Philae Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the High Dam of Aswan.

Get picked up from your hotel or cruise ship, then head to the High Dam of Aswan in an air-conditioned minivan.

This immense dam was built in the 1960s, and provides irrigation and electricity for the whole of Egypt. Look out over Lake Nasser, the world's largest lake which was created by the High Dam of Aswan. From your viewing point, you can also see the ancient Egyptian Temple of Kalabsha.

Continue your tour with a stop at the Unfinished Obelisk. Believed to be the largest obelisk in the world, the Unfinished Obelisk still lies at its place of carving due to a crack that was discovered when it was being hewn from the rock.

A short motorboat ride across the Nile will bring you to Philae Island; a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy the peaceful island setting, uncover the history of Philae Temple, and learn about how the temple was moved from its original site.
