Bar
On the Lounge level, open all day, serves alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages in addition to a variety of cocktails. The selection of wines and alcoholic beverages served is subject to availability from the Egyptian duty free shop.
N.B.: Kindly note that is not allowed to bring food or beverages to the ship from outside, this is in keeping with the ship's policy.

Bank
A local official will come on board during the cruise. You will be informed upon his arrival. However, there are banks both In Luxor and Aswan which are open through the week and are within walking distance from where the boat docks. For more information please contact the reception.
N.B. : Passport is needed while changing travelers cheques.

Bazaar
 Sherry Boat Bazaar on the main deck, offers books, stamps, postcards, photographic films, a variety of archeological video films about the sights visited during the cruise and more. All putting a complete Egyptian panorama under your eyes, high quality slides, films, cosmetics, souvenirs, our exquisite collection of both gold (18 carats stamped) and silver ornaments should satisfy different tastes and budgets.
N.B. : Settlement will have to be done separately .

Check-in / out
 Due to the fixed program of the Nile Cruises, check in & out are done for all the guests on board at the same time. Check in at 12 noon, check out at 8 am.
N.B.: Your passport will be kept at the reception until the end of your cruise, so please remember to pick it up before your departure.

Credit Cards
 Only Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
N.B.: No personal cheques are accepted.
 

 


Cabins:
 The Sherry is proud of its spacious cabins in addition to 2 large suites offering you the highest standard of comfort on a cruising boat. All our cabins are equipped with 2 beds that convert into queen size bed & sofa-bed giving the possibility of having a triple cosy accommodation & a sitting area. Central air-conditioning is individually controlled, hair drier, IDD telephone, a TV set & video and musical channels.

Dining on Board:
 The restaurant on the upper deck offering international and oriental food including the well known Egyptian dishes prepared by our selected group of skilful cooks. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at a single sitting with an open seating arrangement.

Dress Suggestion
 During the cruise you will be going out for some visits, it is advised to put on some light cotton clothes & cover most of your skin especially in summer time to avoid sun burns. In winter, if any activities are planned outdoors after sunset, a jacket or sweater is highly recommended. On board, outfit is mainly casual or semi formal. Casual or resort wear is appropriate for day time activities. In the evening, open-neck shirts, slacks or sports jackets are appropriate for cocktails. An evening gown or cocktail dress for ladies & black bow ties for men are appropriate if available. On board, try to feel as comfortable as possible, just make yourself at home.

Electricity:
 The standard voltage in Egypt is 220 volts. Razors and hair driers should be adjusted to such voltage.
N.B.: Please do not use a heater or an iron inside your cabin. If it is absolutely necessary that you do so, please keep the management informed.

Hairdresser Shop
 Situated on the upper deck.
N.B.: Extra service. Settlement will have to be done in cash separately.

International Telephone Calls: (ship to shore communications)
  Your ship is equipped with a telephone system that allows you to make direct dial calls from your cabin while cruising.

Laundry
  Available at a charge. Laundry bags are provided in your cabin please contact the reception for assistance.

Medical Service
  The company must be informed at the time of booking if you suffer from any health problems or chronic disease to enable us to take necessary action for any special assistance. Guests requiring special medication are advised to bring them along in their hand luggage, and to inform reception upon embarkation.

Pets
  Are not allowed on board.

Special Occasions on The Nile
  If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, honeymoon or other special occasion during your cruise, we will be happy to celebrate the event with you. Please advise us at the time of booking.

Safe Deposit
  Available free of charge at the reception.

Settlement of Extra
  (Beverages, laundry, medical service and telephone calls); Signing cheques for every order is the system implemented on board. Total bill will be presented before your departure.
N.B.: Time of settling the bills will be made known to you at the reception desk, afterwards payment will be on cash basis at each outlet.

Smoking / Non Smoking
  Please refrain from smoking pipes and / or cigars in any of the interior public areas on board.

Special Vegetarian & Medical Requirements
  If you have special vegetarian or medical requirement, please advice us in writing at the time of booking. It is advisable to re-confirm this request with the reception after embarkation.

Valuables
  We are not responsible for valuables such as money, cheques, jewellery, cameras, binoculars, documents or any other articles which you retain in your cabin.
